What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe any unusual conditions.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities as required by site procedures.

Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and / or authorities as necessary.

Follow all instructions and procedures provided by Allied Universal and site management relevant to the government location.

Support emergency response efforts and assist with evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
