Job descriptionPrevious education experience Previous occupational health experience Provide direct health services to students in Pre-K through 12th grade. Support both preventive and treatment-directed care in school clinics. Work under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Administer prescribed medications. Assist with complex or chronic health conditions (e.g., tube feedings, catheterizations, glucose monitoring). Perform nursing assessments and health screenings. Deliver first aid and acute health room care. Respond to emergency health needs (injury, sudden illness, etc.). Manage case files and follow up on chronic conditions. Refer students to appropriate local health resources. Consult with parents / guardians regarding health concerns and follow-up needs. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard student privacy at all times.

Position : School Nurse - LPN
Location : Volusia County – Daytona Beach, New Smyrna, Deland, Port Orange, etc.
Salary Range : $19-$26 / hr
Hours : Dependent on school!
Internal Notes : Still confirming details – 9 openings for LPNS, 1 LPN per school currently vacant. Each LPN will be dedicated to either a Elementary / Middle / Highschool.
Must Haves :
- Active Fl LPN License
- 1+ year experience as LPN
- ACLS / BLS certification
