LSSE Civil Engineers and Surveyors is looking for a Traffic Engineer to join our team. We are a 180+ person civil engineering and surveying consulting firm with over 10 locations primarily located in western Pennsylvania. LSSE’s projects support public infrastructure and community development. Our clients include local boroughs and townships, water and sewer authorities, industrial and residential land developers, and utility companies.
Qualifications :
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 3-10 years’ experience in traffic engineering
- EIT required; PE preferred
- PTOE preferred
- MicroStation and AutoCAD experience desirable
- Candidate will assist Civil Engineers and Project Managers with the preparation of traffic plans, traffic engineering analyses, and traffic studies.
- Driver’s license required
- Specific duties will include :
Prepare specifications and plans for roadway improvement projects
Conducting technical analysesTraffic Calming studiesTraffic Calming designPreparing technical reportsPreparing transportation-related plans and graphicsCollecting field data, traffic counts, and other researchPreparing quantities and construction cost estimatesTraveling to job sites for site visits, data collection, and meetings, as requiredProviding technical support for meetingsOther duties as directed by senior staffLSSE offers the following benefits and perks :
