Job Description
Essential Duties :
Recruitment and Selection : Posts job requisitions, source, screen, reviews applications, and leads the on-site interview and selection process for hourly positions.
supports functional and operational leaders to fill open hourly salaried positions.
Employee Relations : Respond to moderately complex questions by managers and employees in an engaging and prompt manner.
Lead our employee engagement efforts and oversee routine employee relations activities.
- On-boarding and Training : Lead the on-boarding of new employees, administer routine local training, coordinate corporate sponsored training, support managers in routine development planning.
- Performance Management : Supports plant manager and other operational leaders to complete performance management and talent management cycle.
- Benefits Administration : Responsible for administering employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation time.
Communicating benefits information to employees, assisting with the enrollment of new employees in benefits programs.
Compliance : Responsible for ensuring that the facility is in compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
This may involve maintaining employee records and partnering with vendor partners to on employee leave programs.
- Policy Oversight : Responsible for developing and implementing workplace policies and procedures, such as employee handbooks.
- Reporting and Analytics : Conducts HR reporting and analytics, as needed.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications :
- Education : a bachelor's degree in human relations, business administration, or related field is required
- Experience : minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or production environment
- Communication : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external stakeholders
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is required
- Work on-site 5 days a week
