Job description

Job Title :

  • Unarmed Security Guard Location : Escondido Pay : $17-19 per hour Position Type : Part-Time Schedule : 7 : 00am - 11 : 00am Monday-Friday Job Description : Star Pro Security Patrol, Inc. is seeking dedicated  individuals to join our team as Unarmed Security Guards at a business complex in Escondido.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of the client site, staff, and visitors, as well as enforcing parking rules.
  • The ideal candidate will be vigilant and committed to maintaining an orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and Patrol Premises : Conduct regular patrols of the site's exterior to ensure the proper conduct is being followed.

    • Access Control :

  • Manage and monitor entry and exit points to ensure that individuals are accessing appropriate areas.

    • Incident Response :

  • Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, or any security-related incidents, and take appropriate action as per client policies.

    • Report Writing :

  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift in a clear and concise manner.

    • Conflict Resolution :

  • De-escalate conflicts and manage situations involving shelter residents and visitors in a calm and professional manner.

    • Collaboration :

  • Work closely with staff and local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns and incidents.

    • Customer Service :

  • Provide assistance and support to staff and visitors with a focus on maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment.

    • Qualifications :

  • Security Guard License : Must possess a valid California Guard Card.

    • Driver's License :

  • Occasional driving  of our company patrol car.
  • Must possess a current valid Driver's License and will be required to submit a copy of their driving records.

    • Experience :

  • Prior experience in security, especially in a social services setting, is preferred.

    • Skills :

  • Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

    • Background Check :

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform routine physical activities as required by the job.

    • Working Conditions :

  • Environment : Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, potentially in various weather conditions.

    • Shifts :

  • Various shifts available, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
