The UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute provides nationally acclaimed cardiovascular care in south central Pennsylvania. Our high volume, reputable, well-supported organization is seeking a pediatric cardiologist.

• We host a comprehensive, fully accredited noninvasive department which includes accredited pediatric echocardiography, fetal echocardiography, exercise stress testing, cardiometabolic testing including VO2 max for pediatric patients, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI

About the Position :

Qualifications and team environment :

Candidates must be ABMS BE / BC Pediatric Cardiologists capable of performing neonatal and pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms. Comfortable interpreting ECG, Holter, Stress testing. Experience in fetal echocardiography and other advance cardiac imaging (Cardiac MRI, CT) is a plus but not required.

This role involves supporting both the ambulatory cardiology clinic and inpatient care, focusing on providing exceptional pediatric cardiac care in a collaborative environment.

The division includes 4 full-time pediatric cardiologists and cardiac sonographers supported by a strong team.

Cardiac surgeries, catheter-based interventions, and ECMO are referred to Tertiary care Children's Hospitals and patients return to us for follow-up care.

Additional roles and community : The position involves collaboration with leadership to meet program goals, emphasizes safety and quality of care, and includes opportunities for teaching medical students, advance practice provider (APP) and residents. The location offers a safe, family-friendly environment with access to cultural and outdoor activities.
