Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-ray Tech

Graduate of an accredited AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)

Current BLS certification required

High school diploma or GED

Active state license as a general radiographer (Alabama radiology license preferred)

Ability to deliver timely diagnostic imaging services to inpatient and outpatient populations

Travel healthcare professionals must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray, and C-arm procedures

Provide diagnostic imaging services in the operating room and other clinical areas as directed

Collaborate with radiologists and follow hospital imaging protocols

Ensure high-quality patient care and safety during all radiology procedures

Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
