Job description

About Company:

This is for both full-time and part-time positions.

We’re officially a Great Place To Work®! We’ve always believed that supporting our team is just as important as supporting our patients. Now, we’re proud to share that we’ve earned Great Place To Work® Certification - based entirely on feedback from our own employees.

This certification reflects the culture we’ve worked hard to build - one rooted in trust, inclusion, and purpose-driven leadership.

At Bradford Health Services, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering a supportive and rewarding workplace for our employees. We believe that taking care of our team allows them to take better care of others, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their well-being.

Our benefits include:

  • Medical Coverage – Three new BCBSAL medical plans with better rates, improved co-pays, and enhanced prescription benefits.

  • Expanded Coverage – Options for domestic partners and a wider network of in-network providers.

  • Mental Health Support – Improved access to services and a new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) featuring digital wellness tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modules and wellness coaching.

  • Voluntary Coverages – Pet insurance, home and auto insurance, family legal services, and more.

  • Student Loan Repayment – Available for nurses and therapists.

  • Retirement Benefits – 401(k) plan through Voya to help employees plan for the future.

  • Generous PTO – A robust paid time off policy to support work-life balance.

  • Voluntary Benefits for Part-Time Employees – Dental, vision, life, accident insurance, and telehealth options for those working 20 hours or more per week.

At Bradford Health Services, we don’t just invest in our patients—we invest in our people.

About the Role:

As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals, families, and groups through various mental health challenges by providing professional counseling and therapeutic interventions. Your work will focus on assessing clients' emotional and psychological needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and facilitating healing and growth through evidence-based therapeutic techniques. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of support for clients facing crises, behavioral health issues, and life transitions. The ultimate goal of this role is to empower clients to improve their mental well-being, develop coping strategies, and achieve healthier, more fulfilling lives. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of life for diverse populations across the United States, fostering resilience and emotional stability within the communities you serve.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling.
  • Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with diverse populations including children, adults, and families.
  • Certification or specialized training in group therapy, family therapy, or anger management.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
  • Additional credentials such as Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) or equivalent.
  • Bilingual abilities or experience working in multicultural settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
  • Perform thorough psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support clients experiencing acute emotional distress or behavioral health emergencies.
  • Facilitate anger management and life transition counseling to help clients develop effective coping mechanisms.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to coordinate care.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging research in counseling psychology and psychotherapy.

Skills:

The required skills such as Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy are essential for conducting effective individual and group therapy sessions, enabling you to assess and address complex mental health issues. Group Therapy and Family Therapy skills allow you to facilitate dynamic sessions that promote healing within relational contexts. Mental Health Counseling and Crisis Intervention skills are critical for providing immediate support during emotional emergencies and guiding clients through behavioral health challenges. Anger Management and Life Transitions expertise help you equip clients with practical strategies to navigate difficult emotions and significant life changes. Together, these skills ensure you deliver comprehensive, empathetic, and evidence-based care that fosters long-term mental wellness.
