Controller

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation, leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to managing multi-entity financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities.

Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals.

Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and forecasting.

Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.

Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.

Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

Utilize QuickBooks for general ledger, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.

This role is 100% in office. To be considered must be in Colorado and able to work 5 days a week in the office.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA or CPA candidate required.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Candidates with outsourced accounting experience are encouraged to apply.

Proven experience in managing or leading accounting teams.

Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting structures.

Experience with budgeting and financial planning.

Proficient in cash management and forecasting.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
