Job Summary / Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a local county government that is seeking a Human Resources Specialist for a 6 month contract.

Responsibilities :
- Monitor and handle various leave requests
- Schedule meetings for HR program manager
- Schedule training sessions
- Coordinate external training with vendors
- Create flyers, brochures, and training materials.
- Coordinates and prepares onboarding activities with new hires
- Schedules New Employee Orientation
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications / Background Profile :
- 3+ years of HR experience
- Must have experience using Microsoft Applications
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have strong customer service and soft skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
