Project Manager
Position Description
As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in a variety of market sectors. The ideal candidate is an eloquent communicator and can adapt to different personalities and various job site conditions.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets while working in collaboration with the assigned project team to ensure quality and timely completion of the project.
The Project Manager must be able to assess problems and make informed decisions on behalf of the Company goals and is directly accountable for the safety and financial performance of the project.
What You Will Do
- Manage multiple projects from hand off through development to closure, including costs, schedules, document controls, QA, safety and closeout
- Monitor, track and communicate quality assurance
- Work with the project partners to ensure scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and schedule meet or exceed expectations
- Develop, build and maintain a strong and professional relationship with Stakeholders, Architects, Designers, Engineers and Trade Partners
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Manage design, sub-trade and construction contracts
- Track and report project milestones
- Communicate to team members and act as a mediator between stakeholders and the team
- Lead, coach, mentor and motivate project team members
- Develop tools, processes and best practices for project management and execution
- Ensure all documents are archived following project completion
- Compile and process billings, administering change orders
- Support Contract administration (Document Controls)
- Support Scheduling / Procurement / Supply Chain / Estimating
- Shop drawing and submittal review and coordination
- Project Cost Reporting, updating and accounting
- Create / Review RFI documents as needed
- Submittal Review
- Attend project meetings and generate meeting minutes and log
- Quality Control Documentation
- Generate / Create Close Out Documentation
- Ongoing Training (Field Related)
What You Need
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Manufacturing / Construction Management, Engineering or some Construction related field) or at least 3-5 years of position-related experience
- Strong technical and administrative skills along with the ability to be organized
- Multi-tasking skills and the ability to coordinate work on several facets of a project
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read Construction Documents with quantitative take-off and estimating ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) / Google Docs, Microsoft Project, Blue Beam OSTO and other Construction, Accounting and Manufacturing related software programs
Industry Standard Compensation Ranges :
PM 1 Entry Level Project Manager ($ 85K - $ 100K)
PM 2 Project Manager ($ 100K - $ 115K)
PM 3 Senior Level Project Manager ($ 115K - $ 130K)
