Position Summary : This role manages the end-to-end lifecycle of key ESG performance indicators that are publicly reported, financially material, and externally audited. The analyst supports planning, phasing, and financial analysis of ESG measures, contributes to monthly and quarterly management reporting packages, and provides financial expertise to ESG-related investments and initiatives. The position also partners with ADUSA Health & Safety teams, brand H&S teams, and other stakeholders involved in ESG programs such as Race to Zero, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and actionable insights that drive performance and accountability.
Work schedule : Flexible / hybrid work schedule including 3 in-person days at one of our core locations (Quincy, MA; Hyattsville, MD; Scarborough, ME; Salisbury, NC; Carlisle, PA) and 2 remote days.
Eligibility : Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform pre-submission reviews of KPIs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and analytical narrative integrity.
- Support HC&P Brand leads in preparing Quarterly Brand Scorecards with detailed narrative on results versus prior year, target, and expectations.
- Analyze financial fluctuations and circumstances impacting ESG performance such as inflation, currency exchange, and market pricing.
- Collaborate frequently with H&S team on all ESG reporting and analytics matters.
- Validate ESG KPIs in partnership with Risks & Controls.
- Support monthly reporting initiatives, moving toward more frequent reporting beyond quarterly to enhance performance management.
- Develop and maintain a process for state-by-state reporting across all KPIs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and on-time submission to comply with local regulations.
- Maintain access controls and update validator forms for SharePoint sites and KPI data management.
- Automate reporting to eliminate manual and duplicative development, streamlining processes for executive-level outcomes.
- Maintain internal partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Execute on expectations for the role and support team deliverables.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (or equivalent with 4 years of experience) plus 4–7 years of Finance / Accounting experience.Hybrid skills in financial analysis and IT automation (e.g., Power Automate, Power BI).Experience with reporting automation tools and SharePoint governance.Advanced ability to analyze ESG-related financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into strategic recommendations.Deep understanding of ESG frameworks, public reporting standards, and audit requirements, including experience with externally audited KPIs and regulatory compliance.Preferred Qualifications
