Join CAPA's finance team and help support the arts with your unique talents. You'll play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the nonprofit organizations that enrich Central Ohio's cultural community.

Primary Function

We are seeking a staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for various accounting functions for CAPA and will perform similar duties for nonprofit organizations that are managed by CAPA.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Performance ObjectivesKey Responsibilities

• Cash & Payables : Complete monthly bank reconciliations, monitor daily cash activity, and oversee accounts payable processing.
• Month-End & General Accounting : Prepare journal entries and maintain schedules for general ledger accounts.
• Financial Reporting : Assist with monthly financial statements.
• Audit & Compliance : Prepare audit schedules and assist with non-profit tax filings and grant reporting, periodically.
• Budget & Projects : Support the annual budget process and contribute to special projects and process improvements, as needed.
