Software Engineer II

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer II / Medical Data Specialist II for a Contract with a client in Valencia, CA(Hybrid). This role focuses on designing and managing scalable data infrastructure to support advanced analytics and real-time data delivery.

Rate Range : $47 / hour to $63 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Engineer II / Medical Data Specialist II job responsibilities include :

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support medical data processing, integration, and analysis across healthcare platforms.
• Implement and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing clinical and device data using standards like HL7, FHIR, and OMOP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) and supports business needs.
• Develop and maintain APIs and data services for seamless integration with EHR systems, medical devices, and cloud platforms.
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to validate data quality, support clinical insights, and improve system performance.
• Document software and data workflows clearly, ensuring traceability, compliance, and maintainability across development cycles.

Pay Details : $47.00 to $63.00 per hour
