System Administrator (Offutt AFB) - Leidos

Do mission-critical infrastructure and cutting-edge cloud migrations excite you? At Leidos, you'll play a key role in Air Force ISR operations by building robust Windows / Linux environments, safeguarding top-secret data, and designing innovative AWS / Azure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Server Management : Lead the installation, configuration, tuning, and 24 / 7 support of Windows & Linux servers, storage arrays, and databases to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues swiftly.
• Disaster Recovery : Manage crash recoveries and backup restores to minimize mission downtime.
• Security & Compliance : Collaborate with InfoSec teams to enforce DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+), audit logs, and harden systems against threats.
• Cloud Architecture & Migration : Design scalable AWS / Azure blueprints and develop migration strategies for applications.
• Performance Monitoring : Monitor system health and network traffic, identify bottlenecks, and implement fixes to improve data flow and user experience.
• Documentation : Document designs, policies, and procedures, transforming complex setups into clear guidance.
• Innovation : Stay updated on emerging technologies, lead pilot projects, and plan future advancements.
