Job description

Patient Access Representative

Looking to break into healthcare or take the next step in patient services? LaSalle Network is hiring a Patient Access Representative for a well-established hospital in Chicago, IL! You'll be the friendly face patients meet when they arrive, helping them feel supported and cared for from the moment they walk in.

What's the job?

  • Welcome and register patients in a busy office setting
  • Collect and verify insurance, demographics, and billing info
  • Manage copays, deductibles, and receipts with accuracy
  • Partner with clinical staff to keep patient flow running smoothly
  • Provide compassionate, clear communication to patients and families

What's needed?

  • Previous experience in patient registration, patient access, or customer service preferred
  • EPIC knowledge a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle high volumes with empathy and professionalism
  • Flexibility to work 1st shift Monday Friday with rotating Saturdays
