The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate inspection and documentation of trailers, chassis, and containers. This role involves updating systems with inspection data, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining workstations in line with company standards. Responsibilities include accurately inspecting and documenting the condition of trailers, chassis, and containers, updating the system with detailed inspection information in a timely manner, answering inbound customer calls professionally, addressing inquiries and concerns, maintaining assigned workstations and equipment, keeping the area clean and organized, adhering to all safety protocols and company quality standards, coordinating with yard personnel and dispatch teams to support smooth operations, reporting any equipment issues or discrepancies promptly to supervisors, and working outside checking in customers with handheld devices. Essential skills include data entry proficiency, strong customer service abilities, experience in shipping and receiving, excellent phone etiquette, and organizational and planning skills. Additional skills and qualifications include being highly organized and detail-oriented.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
