Job Title : Consumer Collections Representative

Pay Range : $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable financial services company in Albuquerque to hire a Consumer Collections Representative . This is a fully onsite position with weekday shifts from either 9 : 00 AM–6 : 00 PM or 10 : 00 AM–7 : 00 PM . The role begins as a contract but offers strong potential to convert to permanent for the right candidate.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented , compliance-driven , and passionate about helping clients resolve financial challenges in a respectful and solution-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with clients to resolve delinquent accounts professionally and empathetically
Negotiate repayment plans in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines
Maintain accurate records of all account activity and client interactions
Ensure compliance within financial regulations
Collaborate with internal departments to support resolution strategies
Meet performance goals related to recovery rates, call quality, and client satisfaction
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in collections, financial services, or customer service
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset
Ability to interpret and follow financial policies and compliance standards
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with CRM or collections software is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required
