Senior Maintenance Engineer - The Charter

We're on the hunt for a Senior Maintenance Engineer ready to bring skill, leadership, and energy to The Charter at Beaver Creek-a premier slopeside property at the base of a world-class ski resort. In this role, you'll take ownership of keeping every system running strong, from HVAC and utilities to irrigation and building operations, ensuring our property stays in peak condition and every guest experience shines. You'll lead by example-repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting equipment while mentoring a talented engineering team through complex projects. Responsibilities include :

• Inspect and evaluate systems and equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, AV, fire, restaurant, etc.) to ensure proper functioning and identify issues or potential improvements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs in units, common areas, pools, and other property facilities
• Troubleshoot equipment failures using available resources to determine causes and recommend effective repair or replacement solutions
• Respond promptly to work orders from guests, owners, and staff, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain organized, clean workspaces and storerooms; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored
• Support and help implement preventative maintenance software; assist team in tracking and managing asset upkeep
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and project updates

Start Date : ASAP

Employment Type : Full-Time, Year-Round

Pay Rate : $29 - $35 / hour depending on experience

Schedule : 5 days per week, including holidays and weekends with some flexibility on days off

Minimum Requirements

A bachelor's or associate degree in engineering, facilities maintenance, or a related field with hands-on experience
