Senior Maintenance Engineer - St. James Place

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering Team at St. James Place in Beaver Creek, a luxury property in the heart of the village. In this key role, you'll take charge of keeping every system running flawlessly-repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting equipment that powers our building, grounds, irrigation, and utilities. You'll set the pace for excellence, leading by example and training the engineering team through complex projects to ensure our property remains in top condition and every guest experience exceeds expectations. Responsibilities include :

• Inspect and evaluate systems and equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, AV, fire, restaurant, etc.) to ensure proper functioning and identify issues or potential improvements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs in units, common areas, pools, and other property facilities
• Troubleshoot equipment failures using available resources to determine causes and recommend effective repair or replacement solutions
• Respond promptly to work orders from guests, owners, and staff, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain organized, clean workspaces and storerooms; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored
• Support and help implement preventative maintenance software; assist team in tracking and managing asset upkeep
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and project updates

Start Date : ASAP

Employment Type : Full-Time, Year-Round

Pay Rate : $30 - $35 / hour depending on experience

Schedule : 5 days per week, including holidays and weekends with some flexibility on shift hours

Minimum Requirements

A bachelor's or associate degree in engineering, facilities maintenance, or a related field with hands-on experience
