Are you passionate about helping others succeed? The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to join our team in Yakima, WA. DVR has been a trusted community partner for over 80 years, helping individuals with disabilities prepare for, secure, and maintain meaningful employment. In this important role, you will be the first point of contact for DVR customers and play a key role in supporting their journey toward competitive employment. You’ll provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRCs) and professional staff. This includes assisting with client orientations, gathering documentation for eligibility, scheduling appointments, and monitoring service delivery plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with potential customers to explain vocational rehabilitation services and gather information for eligibility determinations.
• Schedule appointments and assist Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRCs) with collecting diagnostic information and monitoring customer progress.
• Support customers and VRCs in developing Individual Plans for Employment, including contacting and selecting service vendors.
• Register vendors and coordinate the delivery of goods and services to DVR customers.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper case files; prepare correspondence to customers, vendors, and partners.
• Provide general office support, including reception, answering phones, distributing mail, and related administrative tasks.
