General Overview Of Position

Arcxis is seeking Mechanical Designers and Engineers with a wide range of experience who are skilled primarily in single-family detached Residential HVAC design and Engineering. This includes performing Manual J, S, D HVAC design, as well as designing duct layouts in AutoCAD by integrating with our in-house frame designs in accordance with ACCA and IRC standards. Mechanical Designers and Engineers collaborate and partner across all disciplines to ensure the highest level of cross-disciplined design integration for a one-stop shop solution to our partners residential design needs.

Essential Functions Of The Job

• Produce Manual J, S, and D calculation and designs using Wrightsoft and final construction documents in AutoCAD.
• Mechanical HVAC engineering and design of single- and multi-family, low- and high-rise residential HVAC systems.
• Generate detailed mechanical design drawings in AutoCAD for construction documentation of mechanical systems for bidding and construction.
• Prepare construction documents in AutoCAD.
• Work with design staff and drafters to complete project deliverables on time.

Monday – Friday day shift, however additional hours, including weekend hours, may be required in accordance with changing business needs.
