Overview
Sr. Manager, Software Engineering - Identity and Compliance Management. Based in Mountain View, CA. Hybrid work arrangement (home and office on select days).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Identity Development engineering team with a focus on mentoring and growing top engineering talent.
- Participate in technical and design discussions with technical leads as a hands-on manager.
- Define and drive identity and compliance monitoring roadmaps by collaborating with technical leads from multiple development teams, management, and business partners.
- Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation, and learning while upholding high software engineering practices.
- Work with senior management to develop a long-term technology strategy.
- Be a role model and professional coach for engineers with a bias for action and craftsmanship.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
BS / BA in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent technical experience7+ years of software design, development and delivery experience5+ years of security experience5+ years programming experience in multiple languages such as Rust, Python, Java, Go, C / C++, C#, Objective-C, or RubyExperience with large-scale compute infrastructure and distributed systems5+ years hands-on technical management experienceExperience developing full-stack applications using microservices architecturePreferred Qualifications :
MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline10+ years of hands-on technical management experience8+ years of industry experience2+ years of experience with machine learning / artificial intelligenceExperience designing and developing high-performance, highly available, scalable web applicationsTrack record of delivering multiple projects on time with quality while managing multiple teamsExperience hiring and retaining engineers with career growth, mentoring, and high-impact projectsExperience building, deploying, and operating identity management or compliance monitoring servicesExperience building and deploying user authentication and authorization infrastructure (e.g., OAuth)Suggested Skills

The pay range for this role is $181,000 to $297,000. Actual compensation is based on candidate-specific factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
