As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver - Government in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for performing patrols by vehicle and / or on foot throughout the property. You will remain visible to provide a reassuring presence, respond to incidents with professionalism, and deliver outstanding customer service in alignment with Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible security-related presence.

Monitor entrances, exits, and / or sensitive areas as required by site policies.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.

Carry and operate assigned firearms in accordance with company and site-specific policies and training requirements.

Assist law enforcement and / or emergency personnel as directed during incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements :

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR certification is preferred.

Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Baton certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
