Simetra Systems, Inc. is an IT-consulting firm located in El Segundo, CA. We handle jobs of all sizes for a variety of clients in the Legal, medical, financial and other industries.
This is a direct hire not a contract position.
General Nature of Position:
You will support Simetra Systems, Inc. clients through the design and development of software applications mostly written in ASP.NET, .Net Core, Blazor and Razor Pages,Visual Basic, C#, PHP, Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server. These applications will typically assist the end user in the collection, analysis and application of data pertaining to customer requirements.
You will develop both the front end user interface and the back-end database structure.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Management Information Systems.
Be able to convert business flow into computer logic.
Minimum 3-5 years related experience, with a proven track record in the successful and timely development of end-user applications.
Must have strong Data Structures and Database Design knowledge.
Experience in backend software design in Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, PHP, Visual Studio, and MS Access VBA.
Excellent knowledge of Transact SQL.
Working knowledge of applications for an internet/intranet environment. HTML and Javascript knowledge is a plus.
Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
