Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer with strong technical leadership abilities and hands-on automation expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience in test architecture, distributed systems testing, and working with POS systems or hardware integrations.

Required Qualifications

7+ years in Quality Engineering or Software Engineering.

2+ years in a senior or technical lead role.

Strong experience in mocked environments , service virtualization , or stubbing strategies for distributed systems.

Hands-on CI / CD experience (preferably GitHub Actions ) deploying containerized applications.

Proficiency in at least one programming language : Java, TypeScript / JavaScript, Python , etc.

Experience with automation frameworks such as Karate, Cypress, BDD tools, or other API-focused frameworks .

Understanding of performance testing concepts and tooling.

Ability to work effectively in high-change, ambiguous environments with fast decision-making.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with retail or POS systems , especially at the software integration layer.

Experience building custom test harnesses or testing frameworks .

Experience influencing teams transitioning from hardware-dependent testing to modern CI-driven workflows .
