About the Position

Job Title :  Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)

Location :  Aurora, CO 80013

Shift :  Day, Monday – Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 3 : 30 PM

Key Responsibilities :

Assessment & Evaluation :  Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students across assigned grade levels.

Individualized Treatment :  Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.

Collaboration & Consultation :  Partner with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress, provide classroom strategies, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Documentation & Compliance :  Maintain accurate records, complete progress reports, and ensure timely documentation for Medicaid billing and district requirements.

Professional Development & Training : Stay current with best practices, participate in school meetings, and provide training to staff and caregivers as needed.

Licensure & Certification Requirements :

Current  Colorado State SLP License

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification – May start with pending CDE
