About The Position

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in the Emergency Department

License : Must have a valid state nursing license upon submission

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required

Must-Have :

• Strong clinical skills in managing a variety of emergency situations
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to float according to facility needs

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room.

This role involves working three 12-hour night shifts each week.

Every other weekend is required, with two weekends per month.

The nurse must float within scope to meet facility needs.

Call requirements do not apply for this position.

RTO (Requested Time Off) is limited to 5 days maximum, with no more than 2 consecutive days.

No holiday RTO is allowed, and no RTO is permitted on weekends or the day before or after a holiday.

The facility operates as a mandatory float facility.

Nurses may be required to float to various units based on patient care needs.

Proficiency in charting systems is necessary.

Candidates must be able to manage emergent situations, including triaging.

The role requires knowledge of various medical procedures and equipment.

Compliance with all necessary health protocols is essential.

Proof of vaccinations is required one week prior to the start date.

No exemptions for COVID-19 vaccination will be accepted, and medical or religious exemptions for flu vaccination are the only exceptions.
