Job Description Qualifications :

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior Asset Software Control Equipment Engineers for the 777 and 777x program located in Everett, WA.

Successful candidates will be expected to provide urgent factory support, as well as coordinate with teams located at our Global partner sites.

They will need to have the ability to architect, define, plan, implement and support the robotic and automation equipment to build airplanes.

The positions are for third shift and hours are 11 PM 6 AM PST

Primary Responsibilities :

• Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
• Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for equipment and tooling.
• Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
• Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
• Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
• Develops and implements moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
• Supports studies for disposition of assets.

Work Authorization Statement :

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.

US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

ABET is a preferred, although not required, accreditation standard)

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an engineering discipline
• Minimum 1 year of experience with production systems in a manufacturing or engineering capacity
• Ability to work the third shift : 11 PM 6 AM PST

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

• 3 or more years of experience programming, integrating or troubleshooting industrial robots from OEMs such as ABB or FANUC, or PLCs, NCs, HMIs, or Drives such as Siemens, FANUC or Allen Bradley
• 3 or more years of experience working in cross functional teams
• 3 or more years of experience complying with industry standards including electrical and safety codes
• 3 or more years of experience with hardware and / or software configuration management

Associate Level : Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.

g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced Level : Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.

g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior Level : Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.

g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

• Associate (level 2) : $81,600- $110,400
• Experienced (level 3) : $96,050- $129,950
• Senior (level 4) : $118,150- $159,850
