Job Description
- Virtual
- Conducting regular assessments to evaluate students on cognitive abilities, academic skill and social-emotional functioning.
- Assist in creating intervention plans, standards for addressing social-behavioral concerns
- Provide counseling and supportto groups or one-on-one addressing emotional safety needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, parents on student learning behavior management and creating a positive school climate
- Work closely with special education teachers on cognitive abilities, academic skills and social-emotional functioning to determineappropriate support systems
- Monitor progress and conduct ongoing evaluations towardsobjectives
- Caseload : TBD
- Counseling or Crisis intervention duties
- Testing and assessments
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements and Interview Process
- Master's in School Psychology is required
- School Psychologist Licensure is required
- 2 years virtual experience
As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
