About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar specialty required.

License : Compact or state license in hand required upon submission.

Certifications : BLS, ARRT (CT) required.

Must-Have :

• Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient experience required.
• Epic and GE equipment experience required.
• Traveler must float between ED, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance of main campus.
• Experience level excludes first-time travelers.
• Ability to work on holidays if scheduled.

Description :

Traveler must be aware of the seasonal weather conditions in the area, particularly concerning hurricanes.

The hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, with potential storms outside this window.

Once the assignment is accepted, the unit manager may assign the traveler to an "Emergency Team."

There will be an expectation to stay on-site until after the storm passes or to be part of the relief team.

Details regarding compensation during storms will be communicated directly.

Travelers should be comfortable with these conditions before applying.

Previous charge experience and patient ratios experience are preferred.

Staff will assist with interdisciplinary support, and patient demographics include neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily census and specific patient diagnoses will vary.

The unit contains advanced equipment and focuses on a collaborative patient care approach.
