We are seeking a Director of Nightlife & Entertainment to lead event strategy, nightlife promotions, and cultural programming across our venues. This role is central to shaping the energy, visibility, and success of our nightlife and entertainment offerings.
Position Overview
The Director of Nightlife & Entertainment will create and develop a plan, promote, and execute nightlife programming, live performances, and special events. This leader will be responsible for driving traffic and profitability, cultivating relationships with DJs, performers, promoters, and community partners, and ensuring that every event reflects the values of inclusivity, hospitality, and positive guest experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Programming & Promotions
- Curate, book, and oversee DJs, live performers, artists, promoters, themed nightlife events and other create alternatives.
- Develop and execute weekly, monthly, and seasonal event programing that drives consistent traffic and brand visibility.
- Collaborate and coordinate with marketing and operations teams to maximize event promotion, ticket sales, and social reach.
- Identify and develop niche markets of entertainment needs in the area.
Audio / Visual & Production Oversight
Manage A / V systems, lighting, and production elements to ensure high-quality experiences.Oversee technical requirements for performers and events, including sound checks and troubleshooting.Relationship & Partnership Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, promoters, artists, and neighborhood organizations.Assist in negotiating contracts and performance agreements with DJs, entertainers, and talent.Foster collaborations that align with building brand identity and expanding audience reach.Business & Revenue Growth
Leverage programming and nightlife to increase sales, traffic, and repeat visits.Work with venue management to align events with operational capacity and staffing needs.Track performance metrics and adjust strategy to maximize ROI on events.Leadership & Team Collaboration
Partner with General Managers and staff to deliver seamless event execution.Train and support staff on event-related procedures, hospitality, and guest engagement.Serve as a cultural ambassador for the company’s values of inclusivity, respect, and community building.Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) in nightlife promotions, event programming, or entertainment management.Strong background in A / V production, lighting, and sound systems.Established network of DJs, performers, and nightlife promoters.Demonstrated success in driving traffic and revenue through nightlife and event programming.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by nightlife scheduling.Creative, innovative, and passionate about LGBTQ+ nightlife, culture, and community.What We Offer
