Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding wholesale partnerships for brand. This role focuses on building strong relationships with retail accounts, ensuring smooth order management, and driving sales growth across boutiques, Western stores, and regional, national and international retailers. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of fashion, retail buying cycles, and customer preferences within the fashion lifestyle market.
Key Responsibilities :
o Serve as the primary point of contact for existing wholesale clients across regional, national, and international territories.
o Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential new wholesale clients.
o Ensure timely communication regarding product launches, deliveries, and seasonal collections.
o Confirming order details, pricing, and terms and resolving order substitutions or delays.
o Monitor account performance and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
o Work closely with management to discuss task details, provide updates, and seek support when necessary to ensure completion of all duties.
o Develop and execute strategies to increase wholesale sales and expand the brand’s retail footprint.
o Identify and onboard new wholesale accounts aligned with the brand’s image and target market.
o Conduct in-person and virtual line showings to present new collections and drive seasonal bookings.
o Maintain in-depth product knowledge, including fabrications, fits, and seasonal trends in apparel.
o Provide feedback from buyers and market trends to the design and production teams.
o Work with Marketing and Operations to ensure all wholesale clients have updated line sheets, lookbooks, and marketing materials.
o Support showroom appointments, trade shows, and market events (e.g., WESA, Dallas Market, NFR, etc.).
o Oversee the full wholesale order process
o Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and timely shipping.
o Track sales data and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
o Resolve order discrepancies, returns, and other account issues quickly and professionally.
o Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm at trade shows, markets, and industry events.
o Maintain awareness of competitors and evolving trends in fashion and lifestyle retail.
o Uphold the brand’s image, values, and commitment to quality in every customer interaction.
Physical Requirements
Work Environment :
o Combination of office, remote, and field environments.
o Exposure to busy trade show settings, requiring travel and extended hours during events.
