Application Programmer III

Location : Chicago, IL

Salary Range : $65-70 / hr on W2

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Application Programmer III. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-pressure trading environment and is eager to make a significant impact by supporting critical trading systems. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong problem-solving skills and have the ability to quickly assimilate information from multiple sources.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
• Ability to work the second shift (12PM-9PM)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize concurrent issues
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
• Experience with operating systems such as Solaris, Linux, and Windows
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Unix Shell, Perl, Python, and SQL
• Understanding of infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging)
