2nd Shift Automation Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Insight Global's client in the Material Handling industry is searching for Level 2 Automation Technicians that will be focused on the troubleshooting and maintenance of the material handling equipment. Additional responsibilities are as follows :

• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems by using advanced troubleshooting skills
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings
• Performance of preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent unsafe working conditions
• Leading troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment issues
• Train & mentor Level 1 Automation Technician colleagues
• Develop & implement preventative maintenance programs
• Update standard operating procedures and technical documentation
• Interface & partner with engineering teams regarding design changes & upgrades
• Documentation of maintenance activities & repairs
• Follow all internal and OSHA safety standards
