The FFIP Staging Logistics Technician is responsible for managing inventory to support filling, inspection and packaging manufacturing operations. As inventory items are delivered from the central warehouse, FFIP Staging Logistics Technicians are responsible for physical put away of the items as well as the appropriate SAP transactions. In addition, they are responsible for placement of not inspected, inspected filled container and finished goods pallets in the respective building's cold room and related ERP transactions. Completion of the appropriate cold room logbooks in accordance with good cGMP documentation practices and follow departmental operating procedures are required.
Technicians need to obtain and maintain proper certifications to operate powered material handling equipment and be able to use manual pallet jack equipment as needed. Technicians are responsible to execute the physical disposal of approved material disposal orders as well as support departmental administrative functions. In addition, manufacturing area trash is to be properly handled and coordinated for pick up. This position interacts with filling, inspection and packaging managers, staff and leadership, outside transportation services, waste management technicians, and outbound logistics and warehouse logistic technicians. This technician reports directly to Manager, FFIP Staging.

Context of the job / major challenges
The ability to perform any / all needed SAP transactions in the receipt, storage, movement and delivery of all material is critical to the success of this role and the FFIP Staging Department. This position requires the incumbent to have an above average SAP skill set in the management of GMP inventory. The GMP production environment requires attention to the details and accuracy within good documentation practices. The multi shift GMP production environment that exists generates the need to work overtime as required often with short notice and the working of various shifts depending on business needs and production cycles. The focus to create and maintain a safety culture that is proactive and striving for zero injuries is of the utmost importance and an expectation for all employees.
Dimensions / Scope
The FFIP Staging Logistics Technician has the ability to influence and impact the Manufacturing Area's productivity and run time with the proper service levels on delivery and management of materials required. The work performed by the FFIP Staging Logistics Technician and the proper SAP transactions associated therein directly impacts Manufacturing's ability to execute the Production Plan as published by the Materials Management group and has the ability to affect deviations within their area of responsibility, which directly affects product produced at the Swiftwater facility.

The salary range for this position is :
$19.63 - $26.18
