Job descriptionExperience as an HVAC Service Technician. Active EPA Universal certification. Valid driver's license; clean driving record. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Able to climb / balance on ladders; work in elevated locations. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. Commercial refrigeration service experience. BAS / DDC exposure; light controls troubleshooting. OEM / start-up certifications; brazing and recovery proficiency. Join a commercial HVAC and refrigeration service team supporting Kansas City metro clients. Full-time, in-person role. Standard hours 7 : 30 a.m.–4 : 00 p.m., Mon–Fri, with rotating on-call.
Key Responsibilities – Commercial HVAC Service Technician - Shawnee, KS
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC / R systems.
- Execute preventive maintenance and start-ups.
- Calibrate controls; verify system performance and documentation.
- Safely use ladders; work at heights and in mechanical spaces.
- Maintain vehicle condition; complete monthly inspection forms.
- Manage truck stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.
- Communicate clearly with customers; uphold professional standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation; complete after-hours service tickets.
