Development & Communications Manager

This is not simply a marketing or development role, we are genuinely looking for a talented Grants and Communications Strategist with a vision to build our development and communications branch and bring the LCCL to the next level.
The LCCL is nationally recognized as a leading organization dedicated to supporting grassroots nonprofits in marginalized communities. We Find, Fund, Form, and Feature nonprofits meeting the needs of individuals and families, helping to advance resource equity and the well-being of the communities we serve. Position Overview
The Development & Communications Manager is a full-time position. It reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director of Operations while collaborating with the LCCL Executive team on the planning, managing, and executing fundraising and communication initiatives. This position is new to the LCCL and will work to increase and diversify funding while elevating the organization's recognition and visibility at the community and thought-leader levels. This position is an integral part of the LCCL's commitment to realizing our vision to advance resource equity and the well-being of the community. It will focus heavily on the fourth "F" in our mission : Feature, as we strive to "give voice to vision" for ourselves and the Community Partners that we serve.

Location and Compensation
This remote role is open to candidates residing only in California, Colorado, Maryland, and Oregon. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Our salary at the Latino Coalition for Community Leadership will be based on skills, education, and experience, as well as pay equity and internal equity of current team members. The mentioned range is the full hiring range, and hiring at the maximum is not typical to allow for future salary growth.
