Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Technician to perform mechanical testing on centrifugal blowers, compressors, and dryers. This role is critical to ensure the performance, safety, and reliability of our rotating equipment. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with laser shaft alignment, vibration analysis, and pressure / temperature measurements.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform precision shaft alignment using laser shaft alignment tools (core responsibility).
• Conduct mechanical tests on centrifugal blowers, compressors, and dryers following established procedures.
• Record and analyze vibration, pressure, and temperature data during testing.
• Set up electrical and mechanical input / output connections, including auxiliary equipment such as soft starters and water-cooling towers.
• Generate accurate and detailed test reports using Windows-based software.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Communicate test findings, anomalies, and improvement recommendations to the engineering team.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during test operations.
