Job Title : Accounting Analyst with SAP Financial module (2 Positions)

Overview : We are seeking two experienced Accounting Analysts with a minimum of four years of accounting or financial analysis experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Candidates with experience in SAP financial modules are preferred.
Skills and Experience :
- Minimum 4 years' experience in accounting or financial analysis

- Thorough knowledge of GASB (Government Accounting Standards Board) and accounting / auditing principles

Key Responsibilities :
Review, analyze, prepare, and process various financial data and documents for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC).Perform complex accounting functions with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.Reconcile account balances, post data to general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, and verify the correct application of accounting standards.Prepare adjustments and post correcting entries as needed, including monthly and yearly accruals.Examine financial data and prepare analytical accounting reports.Monitor and analyze monthly financial results compared to departmental budgets or plans, identifying trends, potential issues, or opportunities.Oversee revenues, expenses, cash receipts, and other financial transactions related to contracts.Prepare audit schedules, support mandatory annual audits, and provide necessary documentation.Participate in monthly and yearly accounting close processes and prepare operating reports.Contribute to special projects and collaborate with internal departments and external institutions as needed.Assist with weekly payment processing and daily tasks such as processing restoration fees, collections, posting invoices, analyzing collection data, and processing phone payments.Review general ledger balances for accuracy and assist with audit and reporting requirements.Remarks :
Required : 4 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, bachelor's degree in accounting / finance, thorough knowledge of GASB and accounting / auditing practices, familiarity with SAP ECC Financial modules, strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, and customer service skills.
