Music Instructor : We currently have immediate openings for Private Guitar Instructors looking to take over part or all of an active teaching schedule in a friendly and fast growing music school with a reputation for providing instructional excellence.

The Allegra School of Music and Arts is an organized and expertly run community arts organization with over 20 years of experience providing rewarding opportunities for dynamic, ambitious, and talented musicians and music educators who want to train up-and-coming students in a thriving and inspiring studio teaching environment. We are looking for committed teachers who complement our dynamic team of educators.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement a teaching plan in line with the school’s rigorous yet flexible teaching methodology to provide knowledge and instruction while helping students develop their love of music.
• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual / audio means to facilitate learning.
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.).
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.
• Collaborate and participate in regular meetings with teachers, parents, and the director.
