We are a publicly traded global financial services company looking for a talented Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP operations.
Reporting to the Accounting Director, this role will oversee daily AP activities and guide the growth of our accounts payable team.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise a team of 5-6 accounting professionals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support team development.
- Lead projects focused on process improvements.
- Oversee the entire Accounts Payable process, including expense reports, invoice coding, and check requests.
- Manage relationships with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with 1099 filings and year-end reporting requirements.
- Administer the corporate card program.
- Process travel and expense reports.
- Work with internal teams to integrate acquisitions into the Accounts Payable system.
- Partner with the finance team to manage monthly close activities and perform general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze regular reports on Accounts Payable metrics and performance.
Must-Have Skills :
- Over 5 years of experience in accounts payable
- 2+ years of management experience
- Proficiency with ERP software
Nice to Have Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in large companies
- Background in financial services
