VDC PROJECT LEAD
The VDC Project Manager plans and executes Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) activities across assigned projects. This role focuses on defining the BIM Execution Plan and implementing the plan on assigned projects, developing VDC content and standards, and contributing to marketing and estimating efforts as assigned.
Qualifications : Required :
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or equivalent AEC industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, planning and executing BIM and VDC at the project level.
- Advanced proficiency with BIM authoring software (Revit) and 3D coordination tools such as Revizto or Navisworks.
Preferred :
Experience setting up and managing projects using Revizto .Experience planning and executing laser scanning, including processing and creating deliverables from scan data.Part 107 certification preferred; experience using drones and associated software to support project documentation.Experience with 360 photo platforms and understanding of progress-tracking best practices.Experience with 4D / 5D phase planning and animation using Fuzor , Synchro Pro , or similar software.Experience creating virtual mockups and collaborating with project teams on their development.Programming experience using Dynamo , Python or similar languages .Skills :

This position is for the McGough headquarters in St. Paul, MN. Hybrid remote or remote options may be possible.This position will require travel to regional offices and projects as needed.Job Responsibilities :
Collaborate with internal project teams, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to develop and execute BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).Manage 3D Coordination team accountability to align with project schedule and BEP.Develop 3D models for site logistics, 4D phase planning, and marketing or pursuit efforts.Create 3D virtual mockups and manage coordination among design disciplines, subcontractors, and fabricators.Lead and facilitate 3D coordination efforts on projects ranging from small to mega-scale.Promote the value and application of VDC technologies internally and externally.Create 2D / 3D / 4D / 5D deliverables using software such as Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Fuzor.Support the VDC Director and project teams in defining VDC scope, schedules, and budgets.Utilize BIM for visualization, constructability reviews, and project coordination.Train project team members on the access and use of VDC and BIM deliverables.Contribute lessons learned and feedback to improve company processes and VDC standards.Assist in managing and updating VDC content libraries and standard work documentation.Develop visual and model-based content to support marketing and pursuit teams.Other Duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES

Position involves sitting for extended periods of time at employee's work station and during meetings as well as while traveling, either by plane or car. In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $110,600- $128,700 , excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer.
Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future salary growth.
