⏰ 4x10s Day Shifts (07 : 00–17 : 30 or 11 : 00–21 : 30)

Position Details

  • Facility : SUNY Upstate Medical University (Downtown Campus)
  • Unit : Adult Operating Room
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks
  • Start Date : November 7, 2025
  • Shifts : 4x10s Days (Mix of 07 : 00–17 : 30 and 11 : 00–21 : 30)
  • Hours : 40 hours per week
  • Schedule Type : Rotating | No block scheduling
  • Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend
  • On-Call : Required (varies by unit need)

    • Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years recent OR experience (within acute care hospital)
  • Trauma Experience : Level I preferred | Level II required
  • Teaching Hospital Experience : Required
  • Travel Experience : Preferred but not required
  • License : Active New York RN license (required upon submission)
  • Certifications : BLS (required), ACLS (preferred)
  • Charting System : Epic (preferred)
  • Must Scrub : Yes – General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, Robotics (Mako experience preferred)

  • References : At least one supervisor reference required
  • Facility requires drug screen within 2 weeks of start
