Sr Government Accounting Analyst

Overview

Aerospace & Defense contractor seeks Gov't Accounting & Compliance Specialist to oversee FAR / DFARS and CAS compliance, cost / price analysis, rate development, and DCAA / DCMA audits. SAP expertise and 5–7 years in government accounting preferred.

Salary

Base pay range : $110,000.00 / yr - $140,000.00 / yr

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rate models; prepare and submit provisional billing rates and incurred cost submissions.
• Ensure compliance with CAS, FAR, and government cost principles; maintain relevant disclosure statements.
• Support audits and cost / price analyses conducted by government agencies.
• Lead or participate in SAP system enhancements, reporting, and custom financial solutions.
• Prepare briefings for program finance teams, executives, and cross-functional groups on accounting and rate analysis topics.
• Train and mentor staff on government accounting, cost / pricing, and rate development.
• Lead special projects to improve processes and reduce operational costs.

About The Role
