Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end closing activities for investments, consolidation, and deposits.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly fluctuation analyses at the general ledger and financial statement levels.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and review board reports, including supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparing sections of financial statements and regulatory filings (SEC and others).
• Coordinate and collaborate with auditors and update SOX control narratives.
• Prepare and review banking regulatory reports, such as quarterly Call and FRY reports.
• Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred; strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting with skills in investment accounting, consolidation, and regulatory reporting.
• Background in financial services industry strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex financial data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak reporting periods.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving regulatory and accounting standards.

Salary

• The annual salary for this role ranges between $85K $95K depending upon relevant experience.
