Role Summary
The Manufacturing Technician Production is primarily responsible for the production, loading, and inspection of automotive parts.
The individual will work in a safe manner and maintain a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area and perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with the safety policies of Karmax.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with Section 28 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments
- Follow Magnas Code of Conduct and Ethics and related compliance policies.
- Safely operates production equipment using palm stations, light curtains and safety mats and performs all duties in a safe manner in accordance with the safety policies of Karmax.
- Perform all duties in a manner that contributes to Karmax Heavy Stampings goal of providing a Quality Product at Competitive Price using the TLCQQ procedure.
- Performs general equipment maintenance functions such as cleaning and basic mechanical and safety checks
- Perform all duties in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with the Karmax Environmental Policy Statement3 Ps.
Prevent Pollution, Preserve Natural Resources & Protect our Environment
Perform other duties as required.
Key Qualifications / Requirements
Grade 12 Education or GED

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to work in various locations within and outside the Manufacturing Plant.
- Must be able to work Rotating Shifts & Weekend Overtime to meet Customer Requirements.
- Lifting up to 20 kgs
- Frequent and Repetitive lifting / motions (cycle time)
- Exposed regularly to elements such as temperature and noise
