Senior Development Manager
Looking for a Senior Development Manager to focus on growing our client's portfolio of industrial real estate in the Charlotte market and the broader Sunbelt region. The Senior Development Manager will have a strong emphasis on pre-development and deal pursuit activities. Responsibilities include :
- Leading pre-development activities, including feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analysis.
- Negotiating land acquisitions, joint ventures, and other key deal terms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop project timelines, budgets, and strategies.
- Managing relationships with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Overseeing the preparation and submission of project proposals and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental standards.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings during the pre-development phase.
- Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members and supporting their professional growth.
- Communicating project status and updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements include :
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).6+ years of industrial real estate development experience, with a proven track record in pre-development and deal pursuit.Deep knowledge of the Charlotte market and broader Sunbelt region (Savannah, Richmond, etc.).Existing broker and leasing relationships in the Charlotte and Sunbelt markets are strongly preferred.Strong financial acumen and experience with underwriting, market analysis, and deal structuring.Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience in project and construction management is a plus.What's on offer :
