Senior Development Manager

Looking for a Senior Development Manager to focus on growing our client's portfolio of industrial real estate in the Charlotte market and the broader Sunbelt region. The Senior Development Manager will have a strong emphasis on pre-development and deal pursuit activities. Great opportunity for candidates who excel at sourcing, underwriting, and executing new development opportunities.

Responsibilities include :

• Leading pre-development activities, including feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analysis.
• Negotiating land acquisitions, joint ventures, and other key deal terms.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop project timelines, budgets, and strategies.
• Managing relationships with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Overseeing the preparation and submission of project proposals and reports.
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental standards.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings during the pre-development phase.
• Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members and supporting their professional growth.
• Communicating project status and updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
