Job descriptionMonitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures. Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions and directions while maintaining a professional presence. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain order within the manufacturing and industrial environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns. Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and / or client protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong presence. Your role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining detailed records, and supporting a secure environment for all personnel. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
