Important Note :

The Splunk Platform Core is the primary skill required for this onsite role. Experience in ITSI or Observability is secondary.

Key Splunk Skills Required :

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain Splunk Core, Splunk ITSI, and Splunk AIOps / Observability platforms.
• Develop and manage integrations between Splunk Core, Observability platform, and other IT monitoring / logging / ITSM tools.
• Troubleshoot performance, data ingestion, correlation logic, integrations, and automation issues.
• Create metrics and dashboards; maintain documentation.

Detailed Job Description :

Role : Observability Engineer & Administrator

Primary Skills : Splunk CORE & Observability Platform

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain Splunk Core and Observability platforms.
• Develop integrations with IT monitoring, logging, and ITSM tools.
• Implement automation workflows and runbooks for incident management.
• Collaborate with IT teams to translate AIOps requirements into platform solutions.
• Define and enforce best practices for configuration and administration.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and maintain documentation.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor IT health and incident trends.
• Ensure platform security and compliance.

Requirements :

• Proven experience with Splunk CORE and Observability platforms in production environments.
• Familiarity with IT monitoring tools, logging systems, and ITSM platforms.
• Understanding of ITIL and incident management processes.

Preferred Skills :

• Deep hands-on expertise in Splunk CORE and Observability.
• Strong understanding of AIOps, ML algorithms for event correlation, and noise reduction.
• Experience integrating platforms via APIs.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
